𝗖𝗼𝗥𝗘-𝗔𝗜 invites you to a panel discussion and paper launch on 𝘌𝘹𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘈𝘐 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘊𝘰𝘱𝘺𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 on May 6, 2025. As generative AI continues to evolve, its reliance on vast datasets—often containing 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝘆𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁-𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁—raises critical questions on legality and ethics. This discussion will focus on the 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 of GenAI models, and whether India’s current copyright framework is equipped to address these emerging challenges.

The session will also mark the release of a new paper examining the applicability of the 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗽𝘆𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝘁, 𝟭𝟵𝟱𝟳 to GenAI practices.
